+Original Item: Only One Available: This is a wonderful condition Zeltbahn Splinter Pattern Camouflage parka used by German soldiers during World War Two. The Splinter model parkas appeared in the winter of 1943-44 and were widely issued throughout the German Army and some Luftwaffe units. Many parkas reverse from Splinter camouflage to white, but this model does not reverse and is lined with a gray satin material. Sleeve and waist drawstrings are present. All buttons are bakelite and present with the exception of one on the central chest.
Splinter camouflage side has some overall fading from age with some minor nips and wear. Interior has loop at neck to hang parka. Exterior fold over tab is ink stamped 57. Size is approximately US 42.
